Saturday's game was played before a large audience who came in anticipation of a close and exciting game. In this, however they were disappointed, as the contest was very one sided. Dartmouth won the toss and Harvard went to the bat. Coolidge led off with a base hit between third and shortstop. Baker made another, sending him to second base. Phillips followed with a clean hit over McCarthy's head, bringing in Coolidge and sending Baker to second, and both men took another base on the attempt to catch Coolidge at the plate. Owing to the coldness of the weather rather a small audience gathered to see the game with Williams yesterday. Those who did come, however, saw a very close and well played game of ball. Williams won the toss and took "outs." For Harvard, Coolidge and Baker flied out respectively to Burden and Stafford, and Phillips struck out. For Williams, Hubbell took two bases on Phillips' wild throw and third on Boyden's wild pitch, but was left there, as Yales went out, Baker to LeMoyne, W. Safford flied out to Keep and P. ...Harvard twelve left Cambridge on Friday afternoon on their trip to Princeton. The game was called on Saturday afternoon immediately after the conclusion of the Dartmouth-Princeton base-ball game. The Princeton men won the toss and chose the shady side of the field with the wind at their back. The ball was at once rushed towards Harvard's goal. The defence proved equal to the occasion and the ball was sent flying back towards Princeton's defence men. Neither side seemed to have any great advantage. Both sides made several pretty tries for goal, but wide of the flags...
