...inter-collegiate foot-ball convention held a few days ago in New York, the rules were materially altered. A very satisfactory scheme to prevent the "block game" was presented and adopted. Under the revised rules the basis of scoring is made on the safety touchback. Two of these equal a touchdown; a goal from the field counts five touchdowns, and a goal from a touchdown six.
