Booth is currently finishing a year-long project commissioned by the Library of Congress taking pictures of Lowell, Mass. for a documentary on "the culture, tradition and ethnic practices" of Lowell. The town had been a model city for industrialists in the 1800s, when it was a major producer of textiles, but it was hard-hit by economic slumps earlier this century.
