...score harkens back to the classic 007 vibe as well, except the film’s theme song. “You Know My Name,” performed by Chris Cornell of Audioslave and Soundgarden, may just be the worst Bond song. Ever. But as soon as the track ends, it is wisely not heard again for the rest of the film.As the media and Bond fans alike have pointed out many times, Craig is blond, not classically good-looking and seems to be kind of a wuss—essentially the anti-Bond. But Craig puts any skeptics...

...Nate Dogg-like frequency—sounds like he’s sick of playing the party guy. He just doesn’t quite know what else to do. Not that he isn’t a great party guy or anything. The album’s opening track, “Shakedown,” has a simple, stomping, horn-based beat (think Scott Storch in the third grade) that leaves plenty of space for Akon’s ultra-smooth tenor to fill. ...take him back, and he spends the whole album floundering around and hoping someone notices him, Dashboard Confessional-style. At least he shelled out for some decent beats. The Reefa-produced “It’s Okay (One Blood)” has a strange, stuttering backing track. ...guess is that this will require 20,000 more U.S. troops on the ground. The U.S. military should rapidly increase the number of U.S. advisors for the Iraqi Security Forces - to some 15,000, up from about 7,000. It should also maintain the covert special operations forces to track, capture and kill high value insurgent targets...

...outsourcing that followed China's WTO admission in 2001 - to extend normal trading partner status to Vietnam. Passage of permanent normal trade relations status, usually a WTO formality, failed this week in the House of Representatives as legislators struggled to muster the requisite two-thirds majority for fast-track passage. The move was resisted by lawmakers seeking to protect textile manufacturers in their home states, or seeking to punish Vietnam for its human rights record. For now, Vietnam finds itself in the unusual position of joining the world trading club but having none of the benefits of membership apply...
