...University band will leave for New Haven tomorrow morning on the 8.35 train. Regular rehearsals have been held for the last three weeks, and as now made up the band includes thirty- six men, of whom about twenty are members of the Pierian Sodality. ...University football team yesterday started on its last week of preparation for the final game at New Haven on Saturday. The last practice will be held Thursday, and on Friday morning the eleven will leave on the 10 o'clock train for New Haven Bay, where the men will stay at the Pequot Club until time for the game on Saturday. This arrangement is a decided change from the plan followed by former Harvard elevens, which have usually had their headquarters in Meriden for several days before the game. ...Freshman football squad will leave this afternoon by the two o'clock train from the South Union Station for Hartford, where they will spend the night.
