Usage:

...band of Simbas lay in ambush along the road leading into Poko, a small missionary town in the rebel re doubt of the upper Congo. Through "the jungle telephone," an advancing column of white mercenaries learned of the trap, cut through the bush and entered the town from the rear. As their skirmish line entered Poko, the whites were surprised to see the Simbas rush toward them jubilantly, their right arms raised in the rebel salute and shouting the rebel yell of "Mai Mulele!" It did not take the mercenaries long to realize that the Simbas took them for Russians...

Mary, Mary was a joke-filled shopping bag that existed to be torn so that the laughs would tumble out. Poor Richard is a net hopefully cast to trap character and at least two themes of some gravity-the capacity to love and the squandering of talent...

Curiously enough, it was another intervening labor leader, United Auto Workers President Walter Reuther, who broke the deadlock. Apparently looking for a way out of the trap his own stubbornness had sprung, the pressmen's Frazee paid a clandestine visit to Reuther at the U.A.W.'s Solidarity House and humbly asked for help. "I'll make a compromise proposal," Reuther said, "but I won't argue." Within a day, both the papers and Frazee's pressmen accepted the terms...
