Owing to bad weather but little work was done by the university and freshman crews during the vacation. The men rowed on the harbor mostly in pairoars, it being too rough for the shell. No graduate coaches were able to assist Captain Treadway. After two months of work in the rowing tank, the University crew went out on the harbor for the first time this season last Saturday afternoon.
