...drawing, which is characteristic of that impressionistic style lately evident in the Lampoon. Sometimes, as on the present cover, this manner of drawing is interesting--more often, as on pages 11 and 12, it is tiresome. Both of the editorials are very readable, and show novelty in treatment, though not in subject. Of the drawings, by far the best is that of the automobiles on page 13. Here--refreshing to Lampoon readers -- the dialogue and the illustration go hand in hand, and each adds to the effect of the other. The centre-page fails to take advantage of the possibilities...

Several experimental treatments have been tried upon the concrete of the outside walls in order to remove the marks of the board casing in which the concrete was originally hardened. As a result of these experiments a liquid treatment has been adopted which leaves the surface in nearly the same condition as that of the walls around the arena. There are several thousand square feet to be covered on the outside, but so far only the eastern tower has been finished...

...Harvard captain, and, as there has been no protest on the part of the CRIMSON, the way now seems clear for Princeton to repeat all these offences and perhaps add new ones the next time opportunity offers. Yale, too, has in the past few years submitted to most extraordinary treatment at Princeton, without protest, or at least without any convincing protest.
