...performers, even if they did not try to act more consistently in the grand manner and take Middleton seriously. The stage is miniscule--the audience within a few feet of the actors. Something less intimate and more imposing might work better: The Changeling really calls for grand-operatic treatment--big gestures, declamation and all. Instead of entering wholeheartedly into this approach, or finding some other basis for their actions, the actors root themselves motionless on the stage most of the time to deliver their lines...
Moreover, many FBI agents remain unhappy at the disciplinary measures faced by their colleagues. Some were particularly upset with Bell's treatment of J. Wallace LaPrade, 51, an assistant FBI director and head of the bureau's New York office. It is inexcusable that the HRGSA resolution was reported a full week after it was passed and the Republican Club resolution was reported three days after it was approved; yet the Democratic Club's pro-constitution resolution was reported the day after it was passed. The HRGSA and Republican Club resolutions were reported on page five of The Crimson; rebuttal from a Convention delegate was included (response to the rebuttal was given to a reporter, but she did not include it). The Democratic Club...
