Dartmouth had at that point a 5-3 lead that Harvard only at the rest of the afternoon. Tom Dockery, Dan Hootstein, and Bilodeau all singled in the bottom of the fifth to bring in one run, and Dockery, O'Donnell, and Hootstein produced another trio of singles for the Crimson's last run in, the ninth. Bilodeau popped up, however, to end the last inning rally...
Died. William King Driggs, 79, onetime barnstorming balladeer who helped his daughters gain fame in the 1940s as the King Sisters vocal trio, then last summer out-trouped the Trapps by massing his wife, six daughters and two sons, their seven husbands and wives, and 23 of his grandchildren to form ABC-TV's singing King Family (theme song: Love in the Home); of a stroke; in Burbank, Calif...
...MITCHELL TRIO: TYPICAL AMERICAN BOYS (Mercury). They look typical enough-conventional haircuts, clean shirts-but when it comes to singing, Chad Mitchell and friends pride themselves on being latter-day Weavers, a combo with a conscience. He also planted the Kennedy family flag-a shield showing three gold helmets on a black background, topped with a hand holding four gold...
...delights indoors. The plaza already boasts sculptures by Henry Moore, Renoir, and a welded stainless steel abstraction by Germany's Norbert Kricke. Astraddle one reflecting pool is a trio of Alexander Calder stabile-mobiles, whose balancing paddles are propelled sporadically by water jets. The U.S. sculptor's metal bathers were commissioned by the museum's Art Museum Council, an active volunteer group of 200 ladies. They are kiddingly called "the Culturettes." In tribute, Calder topped his work with two waving black disks, like Mickey Mouse ears, and titled it Hello Girls...
