...Saturday's meeting which, now that we have had it, we wonder has not been thought of before, namely the playing of the Banjo and Mandolin clubs. This was certainly a pleasant way of filling in the gaps, between the events a bore which has to be endured. We trust that it is the beginning of a permanent custom. In every way the meeting was a pleasant contrast to that of a week ago and other managements may profit well by this year's experience...
