There are four parts to Adams House; three of them are attractive, comfortable--relics of an era when the function of a building was still good living. ...Rose Revealed. Cardinal Wolsey loved bright color. Under the layers of dirt, the restorers gradually revealed the brilliant Tudor blue ("byse") and gold work of the ceiling Wolsey ordered.
