Louis Elzevir, born in 1592, left a number of sons who carried on his large business. They in turn bequeathed it to two grandsons, Bonaventure and Abraham. Bonaventure was the greatest of the family. "The Chant of Love" is hardly worth the prominence it receives, and it is to be regretted that the Illustrated makes such an unsuccessful departure from its usual program, venturing into the realm of poetry for no other reason--apparently--than to beat the newspapers representing the sequel to "Gott Mit Uns." ...Willcox's tumbles, as a fair estimate could be gained as to how fast the Harvard quartet is travelling at the present time. In its other races it has won handily, only being beaten by the speedy Pennsylvania team. The 2-lap and 3-lap relays should turn out to be the closest and most interesting races.
