Proceedings in the fight for the right to carry the banner of the University in parades are beginning to take a favorable turn. The committee on Legal Affairs, which has had the matter under its consideration, reported upon it last week. The report was favorable, in that it suggests legislation which would have the effect of permitting the flag to be carried. Providing the weather does not turn cold enough to freeze the ground, thirteen courts on Jarvis Field will be open by the middle of this week. Work is being pushed forward as rapidly as possible and according to present plans one row of courts should be ready by Wednesday, while the remaining ones will be rounded into condition as soon as possible. The courts on Soldiers Field, however, will probably not be in condition until after the April recess...
