He is even allowed to go through a tolerable love scene now that the Hays office has found out that the younger generation clinches once or twice before they're twenty-five. All in all, "Babes in Arms" is a top-flight musical, has a plot with a kick, songs with some oomph and Rooney. Wonders will never cease...
