DETROIT: General Motor's labor woes continued as the United Auto Workers went on strike today at a key plant which manufactures transmission for most GM vehicles made in North America. The walkout, the sixth this year, involves 2,800 member of UAW Local 909 from the automaker's Warren, Michigan facility.
