The first clause of the resolution that passed states: "Be it resolved that the UC in no way sanctions the military's current policy on the question of homosexuals in the armed forces." At the same time, the compromise that the council reached seeks to address some of the concerns of students who participate in ROTC as well. Yes, it was a compromise.
