...proceed by Burke's judgments, the church would excommunicate priests who abused children (the killing of souls), those who then sent priests to other parishes to continue molesting kids, those who vote for politicians who carry on wars (pro-life means all lives, not just those of the unborn) and all sinners (for sin is what essentially separates us from God). Then the church would have no members left. Burke would do well to remember that Christ turned people's hearts to him by extending them his love, forgiveness and mercy...
