...their unwillingness to label anyone as intrinsically less worthy and their commitment to "being nice" indicate a sense of compassion. Some might see a contradiction, but I think there's a logic behind it. Merciless selection seems less objectionable if we insist that no one is intrinsically unfit. The losers are victims of circumstance, who, in principle at least, can be helped to succeed...
...relatively small numbers, to regional hot spots that Washington wants to keep from becoming global conflagrations. So the Army's admission that the 10th Mountain Division and the First Infantry Division are not ready for war is surprising only until one learns why: their commanders secretly rated the units unfit for combat because up to half of their troops--less than 1% of the active-duty military--were busy tending to peacekeeping duties in Bosnia and Kosovo...

But, of course, they don't understand the words--one American's obscenity is, apparently, another German's lyric...
...have everything necessary to create a listenable album: a hook (they're identical twins with biblical names--their real names are David and Daniel), legitimacy (born in the Bronx and bred in New Orleans, one of the flashpoints of southern rap) and a cause (their parents were declared unfit when they were a few weeks old). Don't bother looking for any evidence of it on Rise To Power though...
