...Brooks Herford of the Arlington-street Unitarian Church, addressed a large audience in Appleton Chapel yesterday evening. The singing by the choir was worthy of a keen appreciation, and the solo of Mr. J. D. Merrill, '89, in the hymn, "Oh! For a Closer Walk with God," was especially well rendered.
