Conditions at Yale University, as everywhere else, have been completely altered by the war-time requirements. Here, as in almost every college in the United States, an S. A. T. C. and a Naval Unit have been established; the Yale S. A. T. C. is commanded by Major S. A. Welldon, F. A., U. S. A., and the Naval Unit is commanded by Rear Admiral C. M. Chester, U. S. N., retired.
