Vice President of the Georgia Anti-Saloon League, he went to Congress from Georgia in 1919, served four terms in the House. At the age of 72, he was ordained a Baptist minister and continued his attack on liquor from the pulpit, this year completed a lecture tour in 22 states and seven European countries...
