William David ("Earnest Willie") Upshaw, 86, tub-thumping Prohibitionist, lecturer on the evils of liquor and presidential candidate on the Prohibition ticket (82,000 votes) in 1932; in Glendale, Calif. Vice President of the Georgia Anti-Saloon League, he went to Congress from Georgia in 1919, served four terms in the House.
