Every Harvard man should feel responsible for the tickets allotted to him. He should in no case buy more tickets than he and his intimate friends expect to use, and he should use every effort to see that tickets do not get into the hands of persons who afterwards would offer them for sale. At last Saturday's game many Harvard graduates were unable to see the game because there were no tickets. The reason there were no tickets was because of the dishonorable practice of some men to whom tickets were sold...
...library has recently been started in Dane Hall for the use of members of the Debating Clubs. The following books have been obtained: Professor Baker's "Principles of Argumentation," "Specimens of Argumentation," and "Forms of Public Address;" the Reports of the Inter-State Commerce Commission, 1894-1905, a few later Commissioners' Reports and a set of the "World's Orators." The books dealing with the Yale debate question have been transferred from Gore Hall and an effort will be made to get government documents bearing on subjects on which debates are likely to be held. A scrap-book...
...Indians did not show as much ability and skill in the use of the forward pass and the onside kick as was expected, for they did not try the forward pass at all, and attempted the onside kick only five times, each time unsuccessfully. Harvard on the other hand used several trick plays with success, including forward passes, onside kicks, fake kicks, cross bucks, and backward passes. Carlisle seldom rushed the ball, but instead depended upon Mount Pleasant's excellent punting to keep the ball away from their goal line. The University team rushed a great deal in the first...

In Starr the University eleven seems to have an end who is well able to fill his position, for on Saturday he demonstrated his ability to handle the ball, get down the field in time, tackle with sureness, and what is perhaps more important, use his head in breaking up the play of a fast eleven. Both sets of linemen played exceptionally well, but Burr and Kersburg showed a great improvement, and Parker, Osborne, and Peirce held their positions very satisfactorily. Parker's passing was good and his weight and strength were of great advantage...
Although Harvard has defeated Carlisle nine times in sucession, the score last year being 23 to 11, this game is never considered an easy one. This year the contest will be an unusually hard one on account of the versatility and skill of the Indian eleven in the use of the new plays. The Carlisle team is considerably lighter than last year, and correspondingly faster, circumstances which should materially increase then gaining power if they can keep possession of the ball. So far this season Carlisle has been beaten but once, losing to the Pennsylvania State College eleven...
