...Bomb In his essay "Today Tehran, Tomorrow the World" [April 3], Charles Krauthammer stereotyped Iranians as followers of an "extreme and fanatical ideology" who would wield nuclear power recklessly. He argues that while good sense has kept other rogue nations from using the atom bomb, Iran, "undeterred by the usual calculations of prudence and self-preservation," cannot be trusted to respond that way. But Iranians are not suicidal. They know that they could be wiped out in a retaliatory attack. And Krauthammer neglected to mention that only the U.S. has used the Bomb.
