Tomorrow night the four University musical organizations will give their only Cambridge concert of this year in Sanders Theatre. The musical clubs have not had as successful a year as usual, because they were again forbidden a Christmas trip, and because the fall concert had to be given up on account of mismanagement. Bearing this in mind, it is certainly to their credit that they have kept at their practice through the year and reached a fair degree of excellence, as is said, despite the lack of most of their usual incentives to improvement. ...Shooting Club's contest yesterday, with a score of 15. The other scores were: Paine 13, Bancroft 12, Mallinckrodt 11, Byrd 11, Stover 10; Dove 8, Hardy 8, Du Pont 7, Campbell 6, Lunt 5. Partly on account of the weather the shooting was better than usual and in the handicap match the following scores were made: Class A shooting at 30 birds, Class B at 33, Class C at 36 and Class D at 40. Yesterday afternoon the nine devoted almost all their practice to batting. After the usual practice at the nets, the substitutes took the field and the regular nine practiced batting in their regular batting order. This was kept up for about twenty minutes when the substitutes went to the bat and the 'Varsity took their turn in the field.
