...just seen facsimile copies of the undergraduate diplomas-the one to be awarded this year, and the one given last year. Concerning the "revised standard version" my primary reaction was that for the sake of consistency the veritas in the University seal should be changed to truth, spaced: (TR-UT-H). The "H" could then be enlarged to represent the varsity letter, ad the base of the shield consequently squared off to conform with the shape of the paper (and the wit of the administration).
