Given that the council emphasized that the fee hike was warranted because it would allow them to bring big-name bands to campus, securing a great show for Springfest should have been of utmost concern to the UC. Whereas the council’s other notable achievements this year seem to have entailed much forethought and planning, this is a case in which it unfortunately failed to do so.
