...Well, not I exactly. We are about to circumambulate the Kaaba. The crowd of pilgrims is an utter crush, completely filling the mosque. Most are waiting to do their rounds, others hang about, talking, praying, sleeping. Male pilgrims are dressed identically in an ihram, two pieces of unstitched, seamless white cloth, one wrapped around the waist, the other across the chest and right shoulder.
