Candidates for the Newell and Weld graded crews will hand in their names this afternoon and will begin rowing at once, the Newell men under the direction of Vail, and the Weld men under Wray. The graded races will take place probably about May 25. At least three crews will be formed at each club and each crew will race with the corresponding crew at the other club in separate heats.
