ITALY Progress Oil lamps were replaced by electric, last week, in the rural chateau of His Majesty King Vittorio Emanuele at St. Anna Di Valdieri in Northern Italy. Admittedly this belated progress was due to the new local Fascist Mayor, Signer Cavalliero Porta, who caused a hydro-electric power plant to be installed within three months after his inauguration.
