...Everyone knows about Ray Lewis' problems with the law and his vehement rebuttals to allegations of his involvement in the murder of two men last year (though Lewis did plead guilty to obstruction of justice, a misdemeanor). But, now, Lewis has gone one step further. After winning the Super Bowl and being named MVP, He Is Not Going To Disney World. What is this world coming to? Trent Dilfer will be at the Magic Kingdom in his place...

...There are, of course, vehement objections to the far-reaching order, which many see as the President's bid to hijack the legacy created by Teddy Roosevelt's use of similar executive orders at the turn of the century. ...vehement disapproval was occasioned not only by the "repulsive" figurative nature of these new paintings, but their frank politics as well. In addition to a deep appreciation for the everyday object, Guston was also profoundly aware of political and social upheaval, wars, famines, epidemics-not simply in his own time but throughout history-and introduced into his unique pictorialism figurative representations of, among other things, the Ku Klux Klan. As a Jewish-born man who changed his name from Goldstein in his twenties and who experienced first-hand the brutality and violence of the Klan, Guston felt acutely the very...
