Harvard states it Judges academic ability mainly on two criteria, CEEB board scores and the school record. Fifty per cent of Harvard sons score below 650 on the verbal SAT as compared to 18 per cent of the others. Forty-six per cent of the preppies scored below 650 while only 12 per cent of the others did.
