...Vidar Jernberg, Swedish chemical engineer, makes thick and plentiful fogs with a two-foot machine, of value both in warfare and in agriculture. His "smoke buoy", when dropped upon the water, starts producing 35,000 cubic metres of smoke a minute, hiding objects 30 ft. away. The "smoke projector", for land work, generates fog much faster.
