...stunning photographs, a fact that the prominent architectural photographer G.E. Kidden Smith immediately noticed. At the end of the exhibit, a compilation of Brown home videos is shown to display the Browns’ encounter with modern architecture. The video has no sound, however, and fails to hold the viewer??€™s interest—which is too bad, as the video documents important influences in the Browns’ taste, such as the pueblo-style houses of Tuscon. An architecture student with some time on his hands could do worse than put together an audio component...

...make. By proving that the museum-going experience can be interactive, she is breaking down the boundaries imposed by museums for centuries. Alhauser does not want her work to be collected because she does not want it to be enshrined in a museum. She is more interested in the viewer??€™s interaction with her art than with the finished product. Her art is it to be enjoyed—and in turn destroyed—by the audience. It is a visual feast, a riot of apocalyptic imagery and beautifully photographed shots. It is an action film that would redefine rather than retread. It is a compelling story, it is a character-driven epic. As the power-mad rogue Yulaw (Jet Li) declares, “There has never been anything like what I have become...
