In taking the stand it did, the CRIMSON, realizing that a bad mistake had been made, blamed the track management for an error in judgment. We still believe that this error was made. While not wishing in any way to defend the unfortunate lack of judgment in question, I do want to appeal to the student body to take a fair view of the track team management as a whole,-to consider the wonderful development of new material that has rewarded the efforts of Captain Dodge, Coach Lathrop and Coach Quinn, during this winter, and to point out how much has been already accomplished towards winning the nine-year cup from Yale this spring...
