...department of engineering has decided to offer during the coming summer two voluntary courses on topographical, hydrographical, geodetic and railroad surveying. The work, consisting almost entirely of practical instruction in the field, will be conducted on the shores of Martha's Vineyard, about eight miles south of Vineyard Haven.
