Tommy's Mexican Restaurant is a homey little joint with red vinyl booths and murals of Mayan ruins. Papa Thomas Bermejo greets customers, while daughter Candy punches the cash register and son Julio presides behind the bar. The roar of ice crushers blends with mariachi brass. The waitress, in a worn T shirt, scuttles about at 78 R.P.M., hoisting platters of sizzling enchiladas...

Very well. Ms. Toi has no problem with booty per se, and though the dubious plum Russian fur hat and similarly purple vinyl attire she sports on the cover of her album bespeaks bling, she has more to offer. Popcorn, salsa, carrots, cheese, and Absolut vodka were all that remained of Rye-native Betsy Sykes 04 and Burberry-clad friends tailgate by half time. As she swept morsels from the vinyl tablecloth, Sykes remarked, We actually got a bunch of nice food. We had two kinds of cheesebrie and cheddar, and we were making Bloody Marys. Peter Giordano 04 and Alex Moss 04 were more than satisfied. Dancing alongside a neglected barbeque and an overflowing trashcan, Giordano exclaimed, The fun tailgates are all about dancing and partying and having a good time. Moss grined and agreed, Its all about...
