...Genee's "Royal Middy" is announced. The libretto of the "Royal Middy" is taken from a French melo-drama by Mm. Bayard and Dumanoir. A translation of the melo-drama was made and adapted as an operetta by F. Zell, and with Genee's music it was given at Vionna in 879.
