In addition to these, a "Visual location apparatus for testing manual quickness and accuracy" has been devised. The machine consists of a moving carriage which is placed in different positions behind a screen. The screen is suddenly dropped and the subject strikes as quickly and accurately as possible a white spot in the centre of the carriage. The time from the dropping of the screen to the hitting of the dot is measured in hundredths of seconds...
