Coach E. A. Wachter is looking forward to a victory, nevertheless. The team played consistently, even brilliant at times, against the University of Maine team last Friday, and against Northeastern Wednesday, the first string men made a good showing. The first half was not a true indication of the team's strength, inasmuch as, with the exception of Captain J. N. Barbee '28, the starting lineup consisted of second team material. Neither A. W. ...Wachter, University basketball coach, has called a meeting of all coaches of New England basketball this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Harvard Club of Boston. Coach Wachter, who is entirely responsible for the meeting, hopes that a Coaches' Association of New England may be formed. He believes that such an association is necessary in order that coaches may discuss basketball problems and may suggest changes to the joint Rules Committee prior to the meeting of that organization in April.
