On the video, he was able to capitalize on his all American pre-pubescent mug. Riding the wail of his electric manhood. Lang's acceleration to the top of the charts was fueled by his lanky frame, laid-back cool and thickly applied accolades from every blues brother. He is now being hailed as the musical messiah of the next millennium...

...sense of musical restraint and variety. Though they've gained press for one of the leaders of the girl rock movement, don't count on Sleater-Kinney showing up at Lilth Fair anytime soon. The album opens with "Start Together," showcasing Corin Tucker's hair-raising wail over Sleater-Kinney's familiar variety of punk that somehow manages to tease out pop hooks in the most unexpected places. ...start of it was chillingly familiar: the wail of sirens, the staccato blasts of antiaircraft fire, the tracers lighting up the night sky over Baghdad. Then came the crash of missiles in the distance, sending up an orange glow along the horizon. On just the first night of Operation Desert Fox, U.S. ships and bombers pounded Iraq with 280 American cruise missiles--almost as many as hit the country during the entire Gulf War in 1991. Night after night, waves of warplanes, including B-52s, F-14s, F-18s and British Tornadoes, joined in the attack. Even...
