Captain Dixon of the Harvard team proved his superiority over Wakefield, No. 1 man on Lincoln's Inn, winning three out of four games, 15-8, 13-18, 15-12, 18-15. In this match the men were pretty evenly paired. Dixon took the first game with ease. In the second, however, he ran up a score of 12-7, and at that point Wakefield began to tally, evening up at 13.
