Ames was almost unhittable yesterday, but Harvard did threaten in the second, loading the bases on a pair of walks and a hit batsman. Fred Keyes was at bat with a chance to give Waldstein a run or two to work on, but he looked at a third strike. Yale got the lone tally in her half of the second on two clean singles and two passes, all coming after two men were out. The blurred background of reunion classes milling around behind the plate trying to get to shelter before rain came must have upset Waldstein...
