...Professor Waldstein, the head of the American Archaeological Institute at Athens, has scored a notable discovery in excavation on the Acropolis. It is in the form of a beautifully preserved head of Iris belonging to the frieze of the Parthenon, which exactly fits and completes a portion of slab at the British Museum.
