Those who are lucky enough to snare singles may have to deal with walk-throughs or lack of common rooms. n+1 housing will almost certainly be reserved for seniors.  So, all right, there's a small price to pay for being in the best House on campus...

Sophomores don’t get much say in their rooming assignments. You fill out a form and then it is up to House Administrator Beth Terry to sort out the rest. Expect a walk-through your first year here. The rooms can be a bit small, especially compared to your friends’ suites in the Quad or your linkmates’ rooms in Adams. But the housing gets better (Lowell is certainly no Winthrop).
