It can be answered with another question: Which lessons and why would he want to learn? Obama skipped the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall when all the national leaders in the E.U. zone and the Russian President were there to commemorate the historical day not only of the fall of Berlin Wall but also of the collapse of communism.
