McDermott and Lewis took the lead from the gun. As the race settled down Cambell and Stanton of Cornell and G. F. Wason '20 drew ahead of the mass of runners. After the three-mile mark Stanton and King, another Ithacan, passed Wason. From then on the leaders of the race kept their positions, except that Cambell wrested second place from Lewis in the last mile of the race. F. G.
