...winter track practice is held primarily to condition men for the more intensive training in the spring, there will probably be no cut in the squad. The coaches will give the candidates individual instruction and will watch each man carefully. If possible, everyone will be given the opportunity to compete in some meet and consequently will secure much experience that should prove valuable in the spring.
