...sexism certainly isn't peculiar to the Olympics. Watch any TV nowadays--sexist stereotypes run rampant, peddling superfluous products; ABC is only part of the general glut. But where ABC has exclusive responsibility--its coverage of the Olympics--it still contributes to the worst aspects of the Games and an ultra-patriotic my-country-first-or-third attitude.
